Italy's wet dream comes true
MCN is reporting, on its cover, that the ink has dried on a Valentino Rossi/Ducati deal for next season. The news comes from an unspecified “insider,” who goes on to report the sticking point with Yamaha wasn’t just money, but Rossi’s objection to racing alongside Jorge Lorenzo for another season. Rossi said last year, “Yamaha have to decide between me and Jorge for 2011.” According to the article, Ducati will be paying Rossi $15 million for a two-year contract.
