Here's the closest look yet at the Tron Legacy Lightcycle and the movie's futuristic riding gear. The sequel to everyone's favorite Jeff Bridges movie drops December, 2010. The official HD trailer, including a lightcycle race, is below the jump.

Movie could be fun, but personally, I prefer the Sid Mead-designed bike from the original film. The wide reach the riders have to make over that ridiculous looking front "wheel"(sphere?) reminds me of pictures of my son on one of my bikes when he was 3 years old.
Favorite Jeff Bridges movie? Yeah, well, that's like, your opinion, man.

but seriously, these light cycles are great, and from what I've read we'll get some back story on the progression from the original Sid-Mead designs to these bykes......yes the rider has got his arms wrapped around an enourmous sphere, but remeber this is the world of TRON, not reality.
I for one am really lookin forward to this film!
