eGrandPrix coming to VIR, Brands Hatch and Mosport

Later today, TTXGP‘s electric motorcycle road racing series, eGrandPrix, will be announcing three additional venues for 2010. Virginia International Raceway, on August 13-15; England’s historic Brand’s Hatch on October 2-3; and Toronto’s Mosport International on July 8-11. The addition of two more North American venues (added to Infineon in May) and a fourth UK round (Cadwell Park, Snetterton and Castle Combe are already on the calendar, as is the Isle of Man TT) serves to further legitimize eGrandPrix as the premier electric racing series after the FIM stole its rules and launched a rival series, FIM e-Power. In addition to these venues, the eGrandPrix has also secured the participation of Zero, Mission Motors, Team Agni and CRP Racing, with more teams expected to announce their participation soon.

Update: It’s VIR, not Virginia Motor Speedway as previously reported.
