Triumph Bonneville Sixty remembers bumper year

Triumph_Bonneville_Sixty.jpgApparently, 1960 was a big year for the Triumph Bonneville. Coming just one year after the model’s original release, the ’60 version gained the bladed front number plate and ditched the integrated headlamp/instrument nacelle in favor of the chrome lamp and twin-clock instruments still evident on the current T100, the bike this Sixty is based on. Or at least that’s what some old codger who used to have one of them motorsickles told us. The big deal with this Triumph Bonneville Sixty special edition appears to be the paint, which is two-tone blue with hand painted pinstripes.
