2010 Ducati Monster 696 and 1100: optional ABS
Both the 2010 Ducati Monster 696 and 1100 are largely unchanged with the exception of ABS becoming a box on the options sheet at the cost of $1,000. That should serve to make the bikes more new rider-friendly as well as more practical for year-round commuters. Both bike gain larger exhaust heat shields so they can stop cooking the thighs of pillion passengers, while the 696 has new engine cases that drop 2.2lbs off the total weight. The 2010 Ducati Monster 1100 now comes with cylinder coatings in a color Ducati calls “Silvergrey.”
