Sorry, no. I don't believe that a Honda fresh off of the showroom floor could ever sound like that. I WANT to believe...

Unf...I could listen to that idle all day.

Curious echo in there. Is that the second cylinder bank coming in and going out? I'll need to try this out myself in person. Frankly, as long as it doesn't sound like a neutered Acura, I'd be happy.

Not too shabby, but it still doesn't hold a candle to this:

hmmm... needs more revs.

Yeah Cliff, you are so right on!

Maybe with open exhaust and race cams, but in the showrooms, Honda's product liability paranoia will have it kicking probably 115-120rwhp, and probably 80+ torque? Acceptably potent, but neutered.

I have to say, that does sound pretty good.

Y'all must have better speakers than me. To me, it just sounded okay. Plus that mike must be right next to the exhaust outlet. Honda are always super quiet out of the box.

No doubt tho, with a full race pipe that motor will remind you of the Moto GP bike from a few years ago!

I have a bad feeling this bike won't be coming to the US in '10.

That's crap, DaineseDan has the right idea!

One of our regulars was in today excited as a small child having placed his order with the local Honda guys. He said he wont get his until February in the UK. Not sure when the other release dates globally are.

I do find it hard to get excited about Hondas but it has pretty wheels!
