Aprilia RSV4 R looks good in white

Aprilia_RSV4_R.jpgA note to Aprilia: when you choose to partner with a website for an exclusive first unveil of a new product, it may be a good idea to ask that website not to publish a low-res image of the bike ahead of time. It ruins the impact of the unveiling and guarantees the first image everyone sees of your new bike will be a crappy one. Having said that, the Aprilia RSV4 R looks great in white. Kudos to you for using restrained, classy graphics.

We've seen the RSV4 R before of course, so we already know that it gets lower spec Showa instead of the Ohlins suspension on the Aprilia RSV4 Factory, normal aluminum alloy instead of forged rims and probably run-of-the-mill Brembo radial brakes instead of Monoblocs. The fairing will also ditch the carbon fiber in favor of plastic. Significantly, the R retains the Factory's 180bhp 999.6cc V4. Look for official info and high-res images this weekend.

Lets see if Aprilia's going to line up anything in regards to the color options; I think the white looks great & the Akra pipe will compliment it well.

This years' RSV looks phenomenal in white. In fact, IMHO ans aside form the Moriwaki and the Aprillia 125, it was the only bike at last years' IMS that really caught my eye!

White is always a beautiful color. I wish more manufacturers would follow up on this.

I like white too, especially my old Honda VTR1000SP2
