Team Ack Attack hits 360mph, shatters motorcycle land speed record

Ack_Attack_Streamliner.jpgThe Top 1 Ack Attack Streamliner, driven by Rocky Robinson, set a two-way speed of 360.913mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats last Friday. The Streamliner is powered by a modified Suzuki Hayabusa engine. This beats the 350.884mph speed set by Denis Manning’s Bub Racing team, which has stood since 2006. The record has yet to be ratified and will remain unofficial until the FIM meets in October. Click through for  video of Team Ack Attack’s 290mph crash at last year’s event. >
