Schuberth C3 becomes quietest, lightest, smallest flip-up helmet
Schuberth claims its new C3 flip-up helmet has supplanted the C2 model as the quietest (84dB at 62mph), lightest (1,570g) and smallest on the market. For comparison, the range-topping Schuberth S1 Pro weighs 1,525g, and is 85dB loud at 62mph. The C3 retains all the C2’s features, including the internal flip-down sun shield, adding an acoustic collar and visor-mounted turbulence generators to reduce wind noise. Additionally, the new model will be available in two shell sizes for a better fit when it goes on sale next month.
