Ducati Monstersedici RR could compete with B-King, VMAX
Hang on, hang on. This isn’t real, just a speculative illustration. Apparently, Ducati briefly toyed with the idea of making a naked Desmosedici RR in an attempt to recoup some of the costs associated with developing the 200bhp MotoGP replica. The 1,500 $76,500 bikes were all sold at a loss, which was written off by the publicity they garnered. Ducati apparently felt a naked version would dilute the Desmosedici brand to too great a degree, killing the project before development began. A Monstersedici RR sure would have given the 197bhp 2009 Yamaha VMAX pause for thought, wouldn’t it have? Another image follows the jump.
