Tiger 1050 Allroad gains fictional off-road ability

Tiger_1050_allroad.jpgTo many, Triumph’s current model range asks more questions than it answers: Why did the dual-purpose Tiger turn into an FZ1-style allrounder? Where is the 1050 superbike? This Tiger Allroad was mocked up by TriumphChePassione in an effort to find out if the current model could regain some of its predecessor’s prowess both off-road and on. The suspension is raised and a high front mudguard is added, along with brush guards on the handlebars and a tall windscreen. Additionally, the Italians envisage an R 1200 GS-style rear seat and hard aluminum luggage. These changes, available as optional extras or on a separate model would add a lot of flexibility to the already capable Tiger while restoring the company’s presence in the adventure touring market.
