Back in 1976 — before the stereotypes, the mass media love affair and Akira — Mitsuo Yanagimachi set out to capture on film a little-known subculture called Bosozoku. The ultimate representation of youthful rebellion in post war Japan, it centered around motorcycles, danger and freedom. A ten-minute clip from Godspeed You!
