Ferrari FXX–inspired motorcycle unfortunately just a model

Ferrari-FXX-Motorcycle.jpgInspired by the money-no-object Ferrari FXX, a model maker wondered what a Scuderia-built motorcycle made with a similar approach would look like. The result is this 1:12 scale model, created with a completely fanatical attention to detail.
Ferrari-FXX-Motorcycle-2.jpgBased on a Yamaha M1 kit from Tamiya, nearly every part has been modified or built from scratch, including an accurate wiring harness, prancing horse–embossed leather seat and even the cam cover, a part that's hidden beneath the fuel tank. The frame and swingarm are carbon fiber — as is the FXX’s chassis — and the black-outlined, white racing stripe provides the final FXX touch.

The result is a motorcycle that makes us wish Ferrari would begin building bikes, but only if they could make them as amazing as this model.
