James Toseland becomes first MotoGP racer to wear BKS leathers
James Toseland completed his first full race-distance test aboard the Tech3 Yamaha M1 this past Friday, lapping Phillip Island with a fastest time of 1.29.754, the third fastest time of the day. It wasn’t his performance that caught our attention, though. It was his new BKS leathers. The clean, white leathers feature a classic Yamaha logo and the company’s iconic red and white speed blocks. Recently purchased by Frank Thomas and about to be relaunched, BKS has long been known for its peerless quality and safety. We hope those values aren’t sacrificed in the drive to make BKS commercially viable.
