Thruxton special to gauge interest in Sport Classic rival
Triumph may be attempting to reposition its Modern Classic range to compete with Ducati's Sport Classics. This special edition Thruxton will debut at the NEC show in Birmingham, featuring performance upgrades like upside down forks and radial brakes. Depending on public reaction, it could reach production. We're hoping they find a way to boost the power and reduce the weight too. What the Thruxton and Bonneville really need is 20 bhp more and 20 kgs less.
