The BMW F 800 GS finally lives up to reputation
We never understood the bizarre popularity of the old F 650 GS. Slow, heavy and ugly, it just didn’t make sense. The new F 800 GS should address all those concerns. Featuring BMW’s acclaimed 800cc parallel twin and belt drive, it weighs just 174kgs dry and has 85bhp. We’d still pick one of BMW’s 450cc bikes if we had to do any offroading, but this new 800 should finally be the all-rounder the GS series has always wanted to be.
