Ewan McGregor: African men’s bodies 'surprisingly ripped'

Ewan McGregor.jpgSpeaking to The Guardian about his recent adventure through Africa, Ewan McGregor noted his surprise at how buff the local men are: “Oddly enough, you really notice men's bodies out there. They are incredible. Because they don't eat any shit and they walk everywhere, as I believe we were designed to do, their bodies are surprisingly ripped. Looking at them can really be quite bad for your self-esteem.”

Obi-Wan was traveling through Africa with his friend Charley Boorman (no known Jedi powers) for their television series Long Way Down.

This comment is on par with the now infamous quote misattributed to singer Mariah Carey: “Whenever I watch TV and I see those poor starving kids all over the world, I can't help but cry. I mean I would love to be skinny like that, but not with all those flies and death and stuff.”
