Ducati 1098R: the most powerful v-twin ever
With 180bhp and 99 lb/ft of torque powering just 165kgs of dry weight, the 1098R is going to be a seriously fast bike. With this kind of performance, we’re prepared to forget the fact that we don’t like the 1098’s design and just get on with riding it — fast. The white number boards front and rear help define some shape in the carbon fibre fairing, and we continue to be amazed by the way Italian designers are able to incorporate their flag into a bike’s graphics without it looking tacky.
